Makers Market Stretford | Sunday 3rd May, 11-4pm
The Makers Market returns to take over Stretford town centre on Sunday 3rd May, 11-4pm. Head over for a day filled with local traders, entertainment and community atmosphere.
Curated with the community, the museum will bring together historic artefacts, local memories, and creative activity to celebrate the town’s heritage, history and culture.
This is a place to tell the stories of Stretford and its people - past and present. As the town grows and evolves, we’re taking time to reflect on its roots and the people who have helped make it what it is today.
With community workshops and creative sessions delivered in collaboration with the National Football Museum, the Unofficial Stretford Museum is a space to discover, share and reconnect with Stretford’s roots, and to be part of its next chapter.

Next up in Stretford's Unofficial Museum we have an exhibition all about the M60, and how it impacts our local communities. At its heart, this exhibition invites people to pause and reconsider the urban spaces they usually move through without a second thought.
This exhibition looks back at Nite School's absolutely iconic era 2025 the mall - the nights that turned a closed down pawnbrokers into a dancefloor and injected new levels into Stretford’s nightlife. And that’s including the legendary Boots rave with Bicep.
