Makers Market Stretford | Sunday 3rd May, 11-4pm
The Makers Market returns to take over Stretford town centre on Sunday 3rd May, 11-4pm. Head over for a day filled with local traders, entertainment and community atmosphere.
Bursting with traders and makers, songs from the choir, activities for kids and even a community tombola - there’s something for everyone. Head to Stretford Mall on Saturday 7th October, 12-4pm.
Anyone else's little ones seem to have shot up in the first term back to school? Good news! Our school uniform 'Reuse, Relove, Recycle' scheme is back for another month. Bring your children's preloved school uniforms to our drop-off point inside the Mall and pick up the next size. Do your bit for the environment and your community.
The Stretford Brownies will be on hand to speak to anyone interested in finding out more about the organisation and The Stretford Scouts will be holding a tombola which will include a selection of homemade and donated prizes, with proceeds going towards their new building fund.
Alongside all of our community and charity groups, the wonderful team at Stretford in Bloom will be selling beautiful pink flowers in aid of Stretford Paint it Pink and we are very much looking forward to amazing performances from Longford Park Community Choir.
If that wasn't enough! Uplift will be launching their new (even bigger!) space in The SQ, including a very special play area for little ones and as always, there will be whole host of traders and makers along Broady Street on hand including:
Japanese-designed, handmade accessories and homewares from A Twist, delicious brownies, blondies and more from Beatties Bakery, children’s handmade clothing from Bows and Braces and beautiful blooms from Flower Candy.
See the full list of traders here and we hope to see you at our next Stretford Socials!

Next up in Stretford's Unofficial Museum we have an exhibition all about the M60, and how it impacts our local communities. At its heart, this exhibition invites people to pause and reconsider the urban spaces they usually move through without a second thought.
This exhibition looks back at Nite School's absolutely iconic era 2025 the mall - the nights that turned a closed down pawnbrokers into a dancefloor and injected new levels into Stretford’s nightlife. And that’s including the legendary Boots rave with Bicep.
